Larry Baker was reared in south Texas. He graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a BA in physics, with honors. He received his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Seminary and his Doctor of Ministry degree from The American Christian College and Seminary in Oklahoma City. He has pastored several churches in Oklahoma and taught Bible and Biblical languages at The American Christian College and Seminary and Mid-America Christian University.
He leads Our Bible Seminars, which were developed to help churches learn how we got our Bible and how to study it. He has worked with Friends to International Students in Norman, Marketplace Ministries, Habitat for Humanity, Grace Rescue Mission, and Community Action.
He enjoys music and playing the trumpet, bicycling, camping, and spending time with his family.
He and his wife, Kathleen, have two sons, Joshua and Peter, and have resided in Moore, Oklahoma, for 20 years.
