Heart & Hand Ministries was formed by Olivet Baptist Church to help get women and their children off the streets. We have found that women are sleeping in cars, shelters, or even in the streets. Heart & Hand now has eleven homes for them to live in with several families in each home. Heart & Hand helps them with their education, food, medical needs, and jobs with a success rate of 70%. All the money we make from our Thrift Store goes directly to helping the women and children get off the streets. Most of our workers are volunteers.
The Thrift Center is located in the De Ville Shopping center at NW 23rd and Council.
