FUN 'N SON SUMMER DAY CAMP

VDATES: June 15-19; June 22-25

July 6-10; July 13-17; July 20-24; July 27-31

VSchedule: 9:00am - 3:30pm

VAges: 1st first grade (must have completed) - sxth grade (completed)

 

VGOAL: to reach the children of Oklahoma City's Ten-Penn area for Jesus Christ.

VOBJECTIVES to present a daily program that will give children at-risk physically, emotionally, and spiritually a safe environment in which to grow and develop godly character.

VMETHODS: These goals and objectives will be reached through:

1.Prayer That god will be giving complete control over what is taught through life example and physical activates Col. 1: 9-12, 15-20; 3: 17-23

2.Teaching: God's truth must be actively involved in all that we do. Every leader, counselor will teach by example as we are teaching Bible lessons, sports skills, music, discipline, and if necessary, in punishment.

3.Athletic Activities: Teaching basic skills at the student's level of learning. We plan to include camps of soccer, football, baseball, and cheerleading.

VTHEME: Building Christ-like character.

Using the great heroes of the faith (Bible and History) to teach the true qualities of faith and character that allowed these men and women to be used by God. The Gospel presentation will be a part of each lesson.

Camp Verse: Phillipians 4:8 "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable: if anything is excellent or praiseworthy, hink about such things."
